Harris Doyle Homes Builds Fifth Habitat for Humanity Home
For the fifth year in a row, Harris Doyle Homes partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Birmingham to build a home for a local family. On Thursday, May 9, 2013, Adrienne Hill received the keys to her new home built by Habitat for Humanity volunteers and members of the Harris Doyle Homes team. “Everyone wants to accomplish their dream of owning a home and we are honored to have the opportunity to work with Habitat for Humanity to build homes for deserving families,” said Brooks Harris president of Harris Doyle Homes. “Habitat for Humanity is an amazing organization and we look forward to continuing our partnership for years to come.” The new homeowner, Adrienne Hill, and her daughter Morgan, moved into a three bedroom/two bathroom home that features a brick exterior with stone columns. Interior features of the home include a “Caldwell” coffered ceiling in the great room, laminate hardwood floors and a tumbled marble backsplash in the kitchen. Harris Doyle Homes built the home for the Hill family as a part of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Birmingham’s 2013 Home Builders Blitz. During the Home Builders Blitz, local Birmingham home builders, such as Harris Doyle Homes, partner with Habitat for Humanity to complete 10 quality homes simultaneously in one week.
