Many families dream of the day when they can have their very own place to call home: a place of warmth and security, where they can watch their children grow and safely tuck them into bed each night. A place built on the foundation of memories, laughter and fellowship. Birmingham home builder Harris Doyle Homes knows how important it is for every family to have a safe place to call home. That’s why we are proud of our partnership with Greater Birmingham Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing affordable homes to low-income families around the world. They believe that everyone should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live, and we couldn’t be more excited to participate in their mission.

Habitat for Humanity is able to provide affordable homes for families in need through the help of volunteers, individuals and corporations. That’s where we come in. We recently helped build a Habitat for Humanity home during the non-profit’s 2012 Home Builders Blitz.

During the blitz week, a total of nine homes were constructed by nine different Birmingham home builders with the help of sponsors and volunteers.  Harris Doyle Homes is fortunate to have had the opportunity to build one of these wonderful new homes for the Spain family. Their three bedroom, two bath home features an elegant brick and siding exterior with a rocking chair front porch as well as a comfortable exterior where the Spain family can grow and build memories that will last a lifetime.

We have constructed Birmingham new homes for many families, and are excited to have the opportunity to help the Spain family build an affordable new home as well!
