How Online Sales Consultants Simplify Homebuying

Our online consultant team works to match your new home criteria to a neighborhood and home design that will best meet your needs. Your OSC will gather preliminary information to get to know you and what type of home best fits your lifestyle. You may be empty nesting and looking to downsize to a one-level home or you may be planning to start or grow a family and consider a two-story home with a large backyard for the children. These are things you and your OSC will talk through during your initial discovery phase. 

You can expect our OSC to stay connected and in touch — whether it be through text, video, emails, or phone calls — to ensure that when there’s additional details to share, they can reach out and relay them to you. They’re responsible for providing you with the information or resources you need, whether it be the names of top schools, places of worship or nearby coffee shops. Making sure you’re updated on upcoming releases and available inventory is one of their top priorities, as is scheduling in-person or virtual meetings with our sales teams and ensuring you’re confident and educated by the time you attend your purchasing appointment. 

If you are looking to relocate, we can assist you in simplifying your out-of-state homebuying experience by providing a personalized list of homes and communities that meet your needs. 

For the buyer looking to stay local, we can also schedule a same-day visit to our on-site sales centers and model homes! Busy, can’t make it out for an onsite visit? Our OSC team and still set you up with a virtual tour, until you’re ready for an onsite visit.

Harris Doyle Homes is proud to introduce Laura Venegoni, our New Home Online Sales Consultant. Laura is knowledgeable of all of new home communities across Auburn, Birmingham and the Coastal Division. Her goal is to rapidly answer inquiries and offer a variety of information ranging from community details to floor plans and organizing onsite visits. Laura's mission is to keep our clients' buying experience moving by answering all their questions and meeting all their needs throughout the first stages of their new home journey.

We sat down with Laura for a few minutes to learn more about her and her role as the Online Sales Consultant at Harris Doyle.

When did you know you wanted to pursue a career in your current field?

“I was a stay-at-home mom for ten years and, while I loved it, I realized that this was something I would like to do.”

What makes you excited about your job?

“I enjoy the flexibility of my career. I can work from anywhere and still be able to help our potential buyers.  It is easier to balance two children in school, and I am not missing out on their important milestones.”

What is the most rewarding part of being an Online Sales Consultant at Harris Doyle?

“The most rewarding part of my job is helping people pick out the community and floor plan that best fits them. It’s a big choice, and I enjoy being a part of it.”

Do you have any tips for future homeowners? If so, what are they?

“My best piece of advice is to first consult with your lender to see what your budget will be. You will already know what your parameters are when we get in touch, which will make your new home journey lot faster and simpler because we will be able to filter the search down to what fits within your budget.”

Tell us about your favorite Harris Doyle floor plan and why?

The Logan is my favorite Harris Doyle floor plan.” I like that it is one story, with a three-car garage, and has a lot of room. It has 3,075 square feet, four bedrooms, three and a half baths, an open concept living space, a study, butler’s pantry, mudroom, double vanities, and much more! This lovely plan is available for construction at Oakmont or The Foothills at Blackridge.”

Tell us about your family.

“I have been married to my husband John for seventeen wonderful years and we have two daughters Isabella and Charli Kate.”  

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

“When I’m not working, I love decorating, painting, spending time with my family and going out to dinner.”
