The HERS Index is the industry standard by which a home’s energy efficiency is measured. It’s also the nationally recognized system for inspecting and calculating a home’s energy performance. The lower the score, the lower your total monthly energy bills.
Harris Doyle Homes are built to use far less energy than other code-built new homes. On average, our homes are 12-18% more energy efficient than other code-built new homes, and 42-48% more energy efficient than homes built in 2007 or before.
