Randall Owens, a Harris Doyle Homes Regional Sales Manager, can be found at our new home communities in Baldwin County. Randall started his real estate career at Sea Pines and is close to selling out the whole community. Booking appointments, talking to buyers, and writing contracts for one community is hard enough, but Randall goes above and beyond while taking care of four neighborhoods at once.

We sat down with Randall and learn more about his passion for real estate and what it’s like working in new home construction and at Harris Doyle Homes. 

When did you know you wanted to pursue a career in Real Estate?

“Real Estate was a right turn for me after 15 years in Technology Business Development/Sales Management. My foray into real estate began when I was approached by a consulting firm to Manage Sales for a Builder in Huntsville, Al, after turning down the interview three times, I finally caved and accepted the position. I spent a terrific and successful three years with this company and learned a lot about Real Estate and land development. I left the company to return to my roots on the Gulf Coast. From there, I dabbled in beach front Real Estate, while also moving back into Tech Sales management for 2 years. This led me to Dilworth and ultimately, Harris Doyle. 

What makes you excited about your job?

“The challenge! Contributing to the growth of a new division and helping to create those inroads. Working with people and sharing in their excitement to Build/Buy a beautiful new Home. Helping them navigate that process and delivering an experience that brings excitement and confidence that they are making the right decision.”

What is the most rewarding part of being a Sale Agent at Harris Doyle?

“Having a direct impact on Divisional/Company growth, success, and being rewarded for it. Being appreciated and valued as a contributor.”

Do you have any tips for future homeowners? If so, what are they?

“Do your homework and diligence. Ask questions. Lots of them! Understand your builders background and successes. What are past customers saying about them. I love telling people who we are and why we are the right builder for them.”

“I love the Asbury and Addison Plans. Spacious, modern, customizable and fantastic curb appeal.” 

Tell us about your family.

“Close knit family who are mostly rooted in New Orleans. My aunt is a famous chef in Nola and has been on the Today Show and Celebrity Chef. One younger brother and I have an amazing 17-year-old daughter (Ella) who is about to graduate High School with honors.”

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

“I try to spend time with my inner circle of friends & family. I love to travel when time allows, and a bit of a foodie, being from NOLA. I’m also an avid fisherman.”
