Now is the perfect time to visit a new Harris Doyle model home in Auburn or Gardendale, Alabama. The models in The Waters at Mimm’s Trail and Turnberry Highlands, respectively, have been dressed by Alice Allen with the expert help of Erin Brigham, Harris Doyle’s new interior designer.
Erin is a 2008 graduate of Samford University with a degree in Interior Design. She has been involved in the real estate industry through her family, so she is familiar with the new home build process.
“We are very excited to get Erin directly involved in the homebuilding process,” said Brooks Harris, President of Harris Doyle Homes. “With her knowledge and vision as an interior designer, Erin will begin to utilize her design talents through our company. We’re lucky to have her on the team.”
Erin has always had an affinity for interior design, and as a highly visual person, she saw herself as an interior designer from a young age. Using the various design elements from the Harris Doyle showroom, she can combine endless possibilities to create a seamless design concept which fits individual home buyers’ styles. With her personalized approach to interior design, Erin ensures that new home owners get exactly what they want. By sitting down and meeting with each home buyer, Erin can build a vision for the home and help steer them toward an end result that will look amazing and will suit their lifestyle.
For inspiration, Erin likes to browse www.Houzz.com and Pinterest! She stays informed of what others in the industry are doing to keep the creative process going and build new ideas. Erin takes her work very seriously to ensure that every Harris Doyle house feels like home to the new home owners when they move in. She even goes as far as to drive through old established communities to take note of the architecture and color schemes.
Since her arrival to Harris Doyle in May, Erin has assisted Alice Allen with the set up of the new model homes at The Waters at Mimm’s Trail and Turnberry Highlands. She is excited to work alongside Alice in designing new models in upcoming communities.
