This Saturday, April 18 from 2 to 10 p.m., is the annual Cahaba River crawfish boil event. The event features delicious food, live music, a kid’s fun zone and a fireworks show and is sponsored by local businesses all to benefit Trussville City Schools. Located in the Harris Doyle community Trussville Springs, the event is a perfect chance for interested home buyers to tour Trussville Springs homes while enjoying a fun-filled family day.
The annual Cahaba River Boil Fundraiser is free to attend and is a rain or shine event. Attendees will be served crawfish, shrimp, hamburgers, hotdogs and barbeque with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to wash it all down.
Live entertainment is provided by an array of local bands including The Negotiators, The Turn and sideCar. The event features a free family fun zone for kids to enjoy some play time while parents enjoy delicious food and adult beverages. The event ends at 10 p.m. with a huge fireworks display, so attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
The crawfish boil is held in the Trussville Springs community located at 6655 Gadsden Hwy. While at the event, new home buyers will get an exclusive chance to enjoy a fun day of food, entertainment and activities while being able to browse Trussville Springs homes. Attendees can also tour the recently opened, fully-furnished model home. What better way to take the hassle out of home buying than to enjoy a drink and some delicious food while doing it!
