Brooks Harris is recognized as an innovative developer with a keen understanding of marketing initiatives throughout the Southeastern homebuilding industry. Brooks oversees Harris Doyle’s land/lot acquisition and development, including its finance and marketing. His keen ability to recognize valuable development opportunities has enabled him to spearhead the company’s impressive profitable growth since he co-founded it in 2008. Harris Doyle has since been recognized as the third largest homebuilder in Birmingham by the Birmingham Business Journal and was dubbed Homebuilder of the Year by the Greater Birmingham Association of Homebuilders (GBAHB) in 2010.
Brooks obtained his Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration, cum laude, from the University of Alabama and later earned his MBA from Vanderbilt University with a concentration on finance and marketing. He is a member of GBAHB, where he served as the organization’s youngest president in its history, Birmingham Association of Realtors, and was the co-founder and president of the Phoenix Club of Birmingham, where he now is a member of its Founder’s Club. In 2014, Brooks was recognized by the Birmingham Business Journal’s Top 40 Under 40.
Russ Doyle has more than a decade of experience in the custom homebuilding industry. Prior to co-founding Harris Doyle Homes in 2008, Russ served as a superintendent for his father’s custom homebuilding company, DKM Homes, and shortly after started his own homebuilding company, Fireside Homes. Upon founding Harris Doyle Homes, Russ has leveraged his deep market experience with industry knowledge to create and grow one of Birmingham’s largest homebuilding companies into the renowned and respected company it is today. Harris Doyle has since been recognized as the third largest homebuilder in Birmingham by the Birmingham Business Journal and was dubbed Homebuilder of the Year by the Greater Birmingham Association of Homebuilders (GBAHB) in 2010. Russ graduated from Auburn University’s prestigious building science program with a Bachelor of Building Construction degree. For the past three years, Russ has served on the GBAHB’s Board of Directors and its Parade of Homes Committee.
