Choosing a builder is a big decision, and with so many options, it can be difficult to figure out which one walks the walk and talks the talk. At Harris Doyle, we work hard to create a rewarding, energizing and creative work culture so our employees are happier, and therefore more efficient. We believe in giving back to our staff and to our community. We do this purposefully and with intention, so we hire and retain the best talent.
Every year, we host a retreat for staff to get away from work and to get to know colleagues better. This year we had Michael Allosso to visit speak to us about “You on Your Best Day.” His work centered on tools we can use to have efficient and effective work days, and to carry that with us home. Through talking and listening exercises, dialogue and fun interaction, Allosso helped us see our work and its impact with clear eyes.
As anyone who has ever been on a staff retreat knows, transitioning back to the workplace can be a challenge, but at Harris Doyle our employees buy in to our culture and bring innovation and new ideas into the office every day. We encourage our employees to embrace a culture that is happy, socially conscious and dedicated. This year, our employees have had seven babies, and two more are on the way. Several of our employees met and married peers. We celebrate these life milestones with our staff.
We don’t just keep our happy work culture to ourselves. Harris Doyle knows that homeownership is one of the biggest steps in life, and that becoming a homeowner can be a challenge for some people. That’s why we have partnered with Habitat for Humanity for years to build homes for those less advantaged. We have found that we are the ones who feel blessed as we work side by side on construction sites.
Harris Doyle is a proudly supportive, encouraging workplace unlike any other. We invite you to experience the difference. To learn more about our company culture and our communities, visit www.harrisdoyle.com.
