We want our customers to feel great about making that investment with us - that's why we've developed a unique brand of customer service called SMARTcare. SMARTcare gives our customers confidence that we will be with them all the way to the end of the 1-year warranty period, as well as the confidence that their new home will stay newer longer.
So, what is SMARTcare? Well, it's all in the name:
S - Scheduled visits. At closing, we go ahead and schedule an in-home visit from our Customer Service Manager for 30 days after closing and 11 months after closing. You will receive a call or email a few days prior to each visit to confirm it. This is our way of letting you know that we're with you from start to finish.
M - Maintenance. During your 30-day visit, our Customer Service Manager will change the air filters in your home, go over any non-emergency service requests you may have and answer any questions about your new home. During the 11-month visit, our Customer Service Manager will change all of your smoke detector batteries, pour bleach down your A/C condensation line(s), and handle any non-emergency issues that may have arisen in your first year.
A - Access. Our customers can contact us anytime via telephone, email or fax. If you don't have our contact info handy, you can always visit our website at www.harrisdoyle.com.
R - Response. We guarantee a response to any inquiries or service requests by 2pm on the following business day.
T - Timeliness. If you have an emergency warranty situation, you shouldn't have to wait any longer than necessary to get the problem fixed. That's why we provide you emergency contact numbers both at closing and on our website. These numbers are for the utility companies that service your neighborhood as well as the HVAC, plumbing, and electrical subcontractors that worked on your home. These companies all have 24/7 hotlines in case you have an emergency that is affecting your quality of life and needs immediate attention.
Harris Doyle Homes understands that our responsibility to our customers doesn't end at closing. In many ways, that's just the beginning of what we hope will be a wonderful homeownership experience. After all, life gives you plenty of things to worry about - your new home doesn't need to be one of them.
